one with too many plotlines that barely connect, no real resolutions, or ones that resolves itself too quickly. i mean, comical tales aside that can have those endings, but i read some that weren't.
i have to say, romance has grown a little more on me. not that it wasn't already at the top. tragedies are second, but a lot of stories have good romance through tragedy. almost ironic how that works out.
Well, as you know, Lord Avon is my favorite, but there are others I enjoy as well. I've always admired authors who are skilled enough to weave difficult realities into their fantasy worlds. Sometimes bittersweet endings fit the story better than happy ones, as strange as that is to say. A little like when Ramuh had me put that story together, and made me decide the outlook of the whole thing, right?
So, ah... I suppose I mean to say the same thing as you. Other genres are interesting, but can be very polarizing depending on who you ask. It's difficult to ignore when a reader is suddenly presented with a very real and personal subject, though.
it's fine, i don't mind the lengthy explanation it's interesting hearing a different view my answer's pretty simple in comparison, but acting, there's also the feelings that come with playing them out fighting's fighting, but not everyone gets to experience the extremes that come with romance or the sorrows in tragedy
Yes, I was! That'd be nice if we could. I'm still only a novice, despite that brief scene from last year's play... I think Mother truly couldn't tell the difference.
And... you can still call me Dagger. It's special to us both, isn't it?

might help if we knew the scenes from his book too
yeah i can show you but i'll also show you how to escape if he gets too much into it
doesn't sound like he's sticking to simple play fights

But I'd like to try and get information about his favorites first. Perhaps he has good taste in plays, at least?
no subject
hope so!
bleh imagine if his taste is terrible
no subject
But I must ask... what do you consider to be terrible?

[You know, not to file away for future gift-giving or book-recommending knowledge or anything.]

[Like, looking at Lord Avon's stuff, c'mon...]
and what about you?

so, unrelated question to books if you don't mind

Ah, yes?

if you want, we could practice together
do you want me to only call you Garnet here? or can i still call you Dagger?
no subject
And... you can still call me Dagger. It's special to us both, isn't it?

but no harm in more practice to make it perfect
yeah, it is. it'd be hard not to call you Dagger a few times if you said not to, but i wanted to make sure
